Poul Receives Edward Peck Curtis Awards for Excellence in Teaching

Sedy Poul receives teaching award.Congratulations to Sedigheh (Sedy) Sheykholeslami Poul, PhD candidate supervised by Professor Kevin Parker, who received a 2020 Edward Peck Curtis Award for Excellence in Teaching by a Graduate Student. Established to encourage excellence in the work of graduate students who assist undergraduate instruction, the Curtis Award for Graduate Students is awarded to full-time graduate students who have had significant face-to-face interaction with undergraduate students in the classroom or laboratory. Sedy was nominated for this award by Douglas Kelley, associate professor of mechanical engineering, for her work as a teaching assistant for ME 225, Introduction to Fluid Dynamics (read more here).
