Biography:
Leader of the innovative concepts group at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE), Jonathan Davies obtained his PhD in 1997 from Imperial College in London. His general research interests include laser-produced plasmas, magnetic fields, fusion, and plasma diagnostics. He is currently the PI on a project studying magnetized shocks, a member of a project providing simulation resources to fusion companies, and was formerly the PI on a project that provided neutron diagnostics to fusion companies.
