Diane Dalecki Receives AIUM Joseph H. Holmes Basic Science Pioneer Award

Diane Dalecki (BME) was the recipient of the Joseph H. Holmes Basic Science Pioneer Award from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). This prestigious award was established to honor individuals who significantly contributed to the growth and development of diagnostic ultrasound.
The Dalecki Laboratory is dedicated to advancing novel diagnostic ultrasound imaging techniques, and to discovering and developing new therapeutic applications of ultrasound for medicine, biology, and biotechnology. A particular focus of her research is on advancing innovative ultrasound technologies for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
Professor Dalecki is the Kevin J. Parker Distinguished Professor in Biomedical Engineering, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the Director of the Rochester Center for Biomedical Ultrasound (RCBU). As an internationally recognized leader in biomedical ultrasound, Professor Dalecki is a Fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), and a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
