In the Wireless Communications and Networking Group (WCNG), we develop and implement cutting-edge networking, communication and signal processing techniques for a wide array of applications, such as surveillance, environmental monitoring, family behavioral analysis, emotion classification and even protein structure prediction!

We study the protocols, algorithms, architectures and systems that can provide dramatic improvements in these and other applications for wireless sensor networks, mobile ad hoc networks, heterogeneous networks, and mobile access to cloud computing resources.
