Abstract: In this talk I will present some examples of our work using Nanophotonics for a range of applications: Quantum photonics (generation of indistinguishable photons); Space, (solar cells, anti-reflection coatings, bandpass filters); Bio-sensing applications (low-cost plasmonic sensors, nanofluidic platforms for molecular detection), and even Cosmetics.
