Study Abroad
Studying abroad offers an experiential learning opportunity like no other. These cross-cultural experiences help students learn to communicate with scientists from across the globe, develop an appreciation for other languages and cultures, and enjoy in once-in-a-lifetime adventures.
Students who study abroad typically do so in the fall or spring of their junior year to stay on track for graduation. Courses must be approved before you can earn transfer credit, so it is important to begin planning early with your advisors at the Institute of Optics and at the Center for Education Abroad.
