Developing a technology from a research platform into a product is a risky, thrilling and rewarding adventure filled with ups and downs, highs and lows. Creating a company from that product takes the risk, thrill and reward to a whole new level. There is a lot to get done, and a good team is critical. When the company's survival is at stake, there isn't much room for error. It's important to think about your interests, strengths and what you can bring to the table when carving out your role in a tech startup.
I'm happy to share the RaySecur company story with you, from the history of the MailSecur product development, to the creation of the company to where we are today, and where I fit in it all. Then let's have an open discussion on the various roles needed in a startup, how each can be rewarding in their own way and which one (or ones!) may be right for you.
