    Rassul Bairamkulov received the 2024 Forbes Kazakhstan "30 under 30" ranking.

    Eby G. Friedman was awarded the 2024 University of Rochester Hajim Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of distinguished achievement in Research, Education, and Leadership.

    Gleb Krylov was awarded a 2020 IEEE Council on Superconductivity Graduate Study Fellowship.

    Tahereh Jabbari was awarded a 2019 IEEE Council on Superconductivity Graduate Study Fellowship.

    Eby G. Friedman was appointed National Sun Yat-sen University Honorary Chair Professor.

    Eby G. Friedman received the 2018 IEEE Circuits and Systems Mac Van Valkenburg Award. The award is for "technical leadership in high performance integrated circuit design."

    Shahar Kvatinsky with Uri Weiser, Avinoam Kolodny, and Eby G. Friedman received the 2015 IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Guillemin-Cauer Best Paper Award for our paper, " TEAM – ThrEshold Adaptive Memristor Model" published in the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers in January 2013.

    Eby G. Friedman received the 2013 IEEE Circuits and Systems Charles A. Desoer Technical Achievement Award. The award is for "technical leadership in circuit and interconnect design techniques and methodologies in clock, power, and signal delivery for two- and three-dimensional integrated systems."

    Shahar Kvatinsky with Uri Weiser, Avinoam Kolodny, and Eby G. Friedman, received the 2013 Sanford Kaplan Prize for Creative Management in High Tech in the 21st Century.

    The paper by Arkadiy Morgenshtein, Eby G. Friedman, Ran Ginosar, and Avinoam Kolodny, " Unified Logical Effort - A Method for Delay Evaluation and Minimization in Logic Paths with RC Interconnect," published in the IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems in May 2010 won the 2012 IEEE Circuits and Systems Society VLSI Transactions Best Paper Award.

    Mikhail Popovich and Eby G. Friedman received the GRC Inventor Recognition Award in 2007 for their invention, "Placement of On-Chip Decoupling Capacitors."
